About the Author

Dick O’Brien has prayed for the souls in purgatory all his life. A Roman Catholic by infant baptism,
education and practice, Dick studied Protestant and Protestant-like Christian faith formations.
He considers himself now a more examined Roman Catholic and better-rounded Christian.

His discoveries –
include the unsuspected fact:  the Protestant stream of Christian peoples and churches
is the only grouping of faith believers, anywhere in the world, ever,
to abandon its souls at death without prayers and sacrifices to help them enter heaven.

His conclusion –
While large numbers of Protestant souls have surely entered heaven, there remains an even greater number deemed to be in purgatory, souls whose names God never hears called out in prayer;
they are abandoned Protestant souls from every generation, suffering since the day they died
for the yet to be atoned-for sins of their lives. These souls, orphaned by their loved ones and churches on earth, endure their soul-perfecting punishments in purgatory alone, non-stop, and to the full.
